MISSION TO THAILAND

Standing with the displaced along the Thailand–Myanmar border and bringing hope that changes lives!

From February 7th to the 21st of 2026, Crosslands Church is sending a Missions Team of 5 volunteers, and one of our pastors, to join the Border Community LifeHub in Thailand.

The team will be ministering to countless families in the border region of Thailand and Myanmar who have been displaced by war, floods, and natural disasters. Many are living in makeshift camps or constantly on the move. They lack safe shelters, clean water, food, hygiene supplies, medicines, lighting, and school essentials.

Background: The Myanmar Crisis

Since the 2021 military coup that ousted the elected government of Aung San Suu Kyi, Myanmar has faced one of Asia’s largest humanitarian crises.

  • Over 2.8 million people are internally displaced.
  • Millions lack food, clean water, healthcare, and shelter.
  • March 2025 earthquakes worsened the crisis.
  • Only 4% of the 2024 Humanitarian Response Plan has been funded, and with further U.S. aid cuts in 2025, the situation has become dire.

The Border Community LIFEHUB

Hope that Changes Lives!

Empowering Youth • Strengthening Families • Restoring Hope

The Border Community LIFEHUB (the HUB) is more than a relief center.

It’s a coaching, training, and launching space that equips young adults to serve their communities and build sustainable futures. From the Thailand–Myanmar border, the HUB mobilizes local teams to deliver life-sustaining aid, education, and empowerment to those most affected by conflict and poverty.

1. Emergency Relief

Providing rice, oil, canned food, hygiene kits, mosquito nets, tarps, solar lights, and mobile clean-water systems to families displaced by war and disaster.

2. Support for Migrant Children

Partnering with border schools and children’s homes to protect vulnerable children through education, nutrition, and mentorship.

  • LIFEPAC backpacks with school and hygiene supplies
  • Weekly soy milk, meals, and afterschool activities
  • Summer camps and spiritual growth programs

3. Youth Empowerment

Through the Youth Vision Program, young adults gain life and work skills in English, leadership, and financial literacy—building confidence, character, and opportunity.

  • Hands-on internships through Youth Ventures
  • Training in entrepreneurship and community leadership

4. Family Care & Outreach

Reaching vulnerable families with compassion and consistency.

  • Monthly Family Sacs with food and essentials
  • Personal visits offering encouragement, connection, and hope

Our Work

Our Missions Team will be joining with the LIFEHUB to support in whatever way we can, such as:

  • Making and distributing hygiene kits
  • Distributing rice and other food essentials
  • Manual labour with the clean-water systems or at the LIFEHUB location
  • Sharing stories of hope to people who are displaced
