Partnership Report

We are partners in the mission that God has given us.

We provide an annual partnership report that is available to anyone who attends Crosslands Church.

The report includes the church financials, as well as key developments and projects of the church.

We welcome your questions! If you have a question about something in the report, please email Fred at fred@crosslands.ca or the Pastors Committee at pastorscommittee@crosslands.ca.

FAQ's

Crosslands Church is set up as a corporation and every corporation has a board of directors who are legally responsible for the organization. At Crosslands, we call the board of directors the Pastors Committee. We do this to demonstrate how this committee's role is to be supportive of the Pastors and their leadership.  The Pastors provide leadership. The Pastors Committee provides support and input. The committee also hires the pastors, with the Lead Pastor's input. They approve and monitor the budget and are responsible for policies and governance.

We do not have a statement of faith that is specific to Crosslands Church, but as a member church of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (PAOC), we are aligned with the PAOC's official Statement of Essential Truths.

For the 2024-25 fiscal year, we have budgeted $13,840 to spend on missions.

The Pastors Committee, with input from the Pastors, nominates and selects new members to be added to the committee. Our foremost criteria is to select men and women who are living lives that are fully devoted to Christ. We also strive to have a Pastors Committee that is diverse in skill, experience, age, culture, and gender, in order to best represent the people of Crosslands.

The Pastors Committee does not have a set minimum or maximum number of people required to serve. However, we find having seven people on the committee seems to work best for us. Committee members give one year commitments that are renewed annually. A member cannot serve for more than three four-year terms.
